Emergency Food Service

By calling the hotline, any household – regardless of residence – can make an appointment to get a 10-day supply of food based on household size. The only requirement is a photo ID.

Ongoing Food Assistance

Ongoing resident client service is available to residents of the Town of New Scotland or Voorheesville School District.

Two forms of ID are required: one photo ID and one showing recent residence (ex: driver’s license and recent utility bill).

To find out if your household is eligible, please call the hotline for more details and to schedule and appointment.

Once you call, you are brought through a process to get you started, and you will receive a 10-day supply of food.

Then, a caregiver volunteer will be assigned to your household. They will:

  • Schedule times for you to visit in privacy at the store
  • Work together with you and other pantry programs, and advocate with the Food Pantry Board for emergency help
